The great room below the new gable opens to the front and back of the house with large sliding doors to the rear deck. The new floating stairs circulate around the new fireplace and act as the houses central hub. The kitchen plus four bathrooms are completely re-located and re-designed. All new windows and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The overall feel and mid-century character of the house is maintained while bringing it up to date.
