The site for the Yakima facility has an unique combination of rough street side presence and an oasis like garden and ponds at the rear of the property. Conceptually then the front of the building acts as the protective oyster shell to the pearl of the garden. Procession through the spaces and the slow reveal of the garden becomes the next defining concept for the building.
